• Thanks to all those who helped Hidden Springs succesfully complete our winter activities. Our Indoor Nude Recreation Nights and Bare Bowling will resume in the fall. 
   
  We will be assisting in the AANR-NW/SOLV "Down By The Riverside" beach clean-up at Rooster Rock nude beach on Saturday, May 17 and will then caravan to Squaw Mountain Ranch for a meeting/ joint potluck and their Cinco d' Mayo party.
   
  We will also sponsor the AANR-NW/SOLV beach clean-up at Sauvie Island nude beach on Sunday, June 29.

  NUDE RECREATION NIGHT/BARE BOWLING
   
   Join us for ourfall/winter Indoor Nude Recreation Nights and Bare Bowling. Both events will be held at the same locations as last season. The remaining Indoor Nude Recreation Nights are scheduled for December 2, February 10 and March 30 (note date change). The Bare Bowling is scheduled for November 10, January 26 and March 1. Events will continue to be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Bowlng events are on Saturday nights and Rec Nights are Sunday nights.
  
  Prices for the Rec Nights remain at $10 AANR/TNS and $12 non-AANR/non-TNS with advance reservations. Prices at the door will remain $12 AANR/TNS and $15 non-AANR/non-TNS. Bare Bowling prices are $13 in advance for AANR/TNS and $15 for non-AANR/non-TNS. Prices at the door will be $18 for AANR/TNS and $20 for non-AANR/non-TNS.

• SWIMS AND BOWLING EVENTS UPDATE
  Hidden Springs continues to host its indoor nude recreation nights and bare bowling events, but the continuation of the events are in jeapordy due to the lack of attendance.  These are the only events of this kind in the greater Portland area, but the club cannot continue to subsidize events that do not at least break even.  Members of the local nudist/naturist community are invited to attend these events to assure their continuation in the future. 
  For the indoor nude recreation nights we have the same athletic club as last season to host our events. The remaining dates for these events are
  Sunday February 11 2007 from 7 pm until 9 pm
  Sunday March 25 2007 from 7 pm until 9 pm
  We have been able to keep the cost the same which is
  $10 for AANR/TNS members and $12 for non members when pre registering and
  $15 for AANR/TNS members and $17 for non member when paying at the event.
  Our Bare bowling events are now at a DIFFERENT location and on a DIFFERENT day. Scheduling conflicts with the bowling alley that we have used in the past caused us to look for a different bowling alley. The new bowling alley, also meant a new payment procedure as Hidden Springs has to rent the facility for the event. The new dates for the final bowling events are
  Saturday January 27 from 7 pm until 9 pm
  Saturday March 10 from 7 pm until 9 pm
  The cost at this new venue is comparable to the old venue and is as follows:
  $10 for AANR/TNS members and $12 for non members when pre registering and
  $15 for AANR/TNS members and $17 for non member when paying at the event.
  For both events, the location of the event will be disclosed upon registration.

• HIDDEN SPRINGS WINS TRAVEL AWARD
  Hidden Springs won the 2006 AANR Schofield Trophy for most traveled non-landed club in the association at the 75th anniversary AANR convention in early August at DeAnza Springs Resort in southern California.
  
  
• HIDDEN SPRINGS WINS NEWSLETTER AWARD
  Hidden Springs won the 2006 regional newsletter award for best non-landed club newsletter at the regional convention in early July at Lake Bronson Club
  
  
• Application Fee Waived
  Hidden Springs has continued a waiver of the membership application fee ($10.00 per applicant) extended through September 2007. This is available for new applicants for membership only.
  
  
• Student Discount
  Hidden Springs offers a waiver of club dues for students that are children of adult members who get their own membership. AANR grants a fifty percent reduction in dues for adult student members between the ages of 18 and 25 and AANR-NW waives the regional dues for students of the same age. Those students joining as children of current members only pay 50% of AANR fees for a total of $12.50 per year. New student members (with no family affiliation) pay only $17.50. (Hidden Springs membership $5.00/AANR-NW Waived/AANR $12.50). Regular total single membership cost is $49.50 per year. Membership costs for couples / families is $86.50 per year.  Membership includes 12 issues of the AANR publication The Bulletin, four issues of the regional publication Northwest Nudescene and at least six issues of the Hidden Springs publication The WellSpring.  Members also can get discounted admission to AANR member resorts and clubs.
